| Customer Reviews: Bold script July 13, 2010 Sam (St. Cloud MN) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Nice clean looking pen that has a very bold script. This pen was to be a gift for a grandchild to learn the joy writing with a foutain pen but after checking it out myself first I kept it. This pen would not be a good repersentation to inspire a young person to use a foutain pen. I now carry this pen with me and if I were lose it it not a big loss
Beautiful Instrument April 25, 2010 Dakota Jones 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great purchase with super fast shipping. The pen works wonderfully and I am happy to have found this seller.
Gave the pens as gifts. January 27, 2010 Rabbit 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Beautifully crafted with nice etchings on the nib. The recipients really liked them. It would been nice to have had gift boxes.
a very nice surpirse November 16, 2009 George Chiasson (Georgia) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
This pen is nicely made and writes quite well.
It feels balanced while writing.. no strain at all.
The nib isn't too smooth..it writes with a slight drag..but that only lets you know you are writing with a fountain pen..not a cheap ballpoint pen.
The ink flows well without any gaps or blotches.
Very happy with the value for the cost.
Great pen for the price January 30, 2009 Rodney M. Waynick (Ruston, LA USA) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
This is a really nice pen for the price. It writes very well and has a pretty flexible nib which allows for varying line weight with different hand pressure.
I do have a couple of complaints though.
1) It doesn't work very well in my sketchbook. It doesn't like the paper for some reason.
2) The converter doesn't allow for a continuous flow. The line starts to skip and I have to unscrew to pen and advance the converter to push more ink towards the nib. It's kind of a hassle, but I welcome the breaks.
All in all, this really is a nice pen. I've used a LAMY All-Star (fine nib) for a little while, but this bold, semi-flexible nib really adds a lot of character to my handwriting and sketching. It's a great deal and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good, inexpensive pen to start out with or add to their daily rotation.
